DesignFXPro offers website and app design services that cover research, interface design, development and launch under one team. We design and build websites, web apps and mobile apps for businesses in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, China and other markets.
This page explains what each service covers, which one fits your goal, how long each build approach usually takes and how our process runs from first workshop to post-launch testing.

Website and app design services combine UX research, interface design and development so a site or app is easy to use, fast and built to turn visitors into leads or sales. At DesignFXPro, one team handles UI/UX design, web development and mobile app development, so nothing gets lost between the designer and the developer.
DesignFXPro offers three website and app services: UI/UX design, web development and app development. Choose the one that fits your goal, or ask us to combine them into one plan.

Explore UI/UX DesignCustom websites, web apps and online stores, coded for speed, built SEO-ready and handed over with code you own.
Explore Web DevelopmentNative and cross-platform iOS and Android apps, from strategy and design through App Store and Google Play launch and updates.
Explore App DevelopmentWebsite and app design services cover everything from understanding your users to shipping a working product. At DesignFXPro that means user research, wireframes and interface design, front-end and back-end development, QA, launch and the testing that follows.
The work splits into three services: UI/UX design decides how the product works and looks, web development builds websites, web apps and online stores, and mobile app development builds iOS, Android and cross-platform apps through to the app store listing.
Typical deliverables include personas, wireframes and prototypes, UI design, a responsive front end, a CMS or back end, QA and launch, analytics setup, SEO foundations and post-launch optimization. You receive editable source files and own them.
| Approach | Typical build time | Key trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Custom-coded | 8 to 16 weeks | Higher upfront investment, most control and performance |
| WordPress or other CMS | 4 to 8 weeks | Needs plugin upkeep and security patching |
| Template or site builder | 1 to 3 weeks | Limited customization and a lower SEO ceiling |
Most marketing websites we build take about 6 to 10 weeks. Larger platforms and apps usually take 3 to 6 months, depending on scope.
The right service depends on the problem you need to solve. If visitors arrive but do not act, start with UX; if the site is slow or hard to update, start with development. If customers need to use your product on the go every week, consider an app.
| Goal | Service | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Visitors leave without booking or buying | UI/UX Design | Research, user flows, wireframes, a tested prototype and a design system |
| A new site or a rebuild of a slow, dated site | Web Development | A responsive, SEO-ready build on custom code, WordPress or Shopify with analytics set up |
| Customer portal, dashboard or online store | Web Development | A web app or store with back end, integrations and code you own |
| Repeat customers need a tool in their pocket | App Development | A native or cross-platform iOS and Android app, submitted to both stores |
| Redesign without losing search rankings | UI/UX Design plus Web Development | A UX audit, URL mapping, redirects and content migration |
WordPress vs a custom websiteWordPress vs a custom website
An app is not always the right build. If customers would use it only once or twice, a fast mobile website usually serves them better and avoids app store upkeep.
The three services share one team, one design system and one tracking setup. The designer who runs the usability test also reviews the build, so decisions made in research survive into the code.
Handoffs are where most projects lose quality. A separate design studio and development shop often means specs get reinterpreted, animations get dropped and SEO gets added at the end. DesignFXPro builds SEO foundations such as clean structure, schema and Core Web Vitals tuning into the build from the start.
Speed matters for both users and search. Google states that Core Web Vitals are used by its ranking systems, and the good thresholds are measured at the 75th percentile of page loads on mobile and desktop. Google also notes that good scores do not guarantee top rankings, so we treat speed as a requirement, not a promise.
Every website and app project runs in four phases, each with a sign-off before the next begins. The phases follow the same Discover, Strategize, Execute and Optimize approach we use across all DesignFXPro work.
Because Google uses the mobile version of a site for indexing and ranking, we design and test on mobile first. On a project for a California personal injury firm, mobile load time dropped from 7.2 seconds to 1.9 seconds and all Core Web Vitals reached passing range. Results vary by site and starting point, and the Injury Justice Firm case study shows the full picture.
The four phases set the order of sign-offs, not a fixed length. A small project moves through them in weeks, while larger platforms and apps usually take 3 to 6 months.
The next step is to name the goal before choosing a service. These four steps help DesignFXPro recommend the right build on the first call.

Choose custom code when you need unique features, the highest performance ceiling or a site that will scale into a web app. Choose WordPress when your team publishes content often and needs easy editing. On our projects a WordPress build typically takes 4 to 8 weeks and a custom build 8 to 16 weeks, and we recommend the option that fits your goals and budget during the free consultation.
Cost depends on scope: the number of pages or screens, research depth, custom features, integrations and whether you need a design system. DesignFXPro does not publish fixed prices because two projects rarely share the same scope. You get a written estimate before any work begins, so you can compare it against your budget and decide.
A redesign can lose rankings when URLs change without redirects or content gets removed. DesignFXPro maps every existing URL, sets up redirects and migrates content before launch to protect the visibility you already have. We also check analytics and Search Console after launch, so any drop is caught and fixed early.
Yes, you receive the code and editable design source files, such as Figma files, and you own them. You can host and maintain the product yourself or with another team, or choose our optional monthly maintenance for updates, security and ongoing optimization.
DesignFXPro has worked with legal, education, beauty and personal care, e-commerce and technology businesses, among others. The process stays the same, but research adapts to each market, for example the trust signals a law firm visitor looks for or the checkout flow an online store needs.
